Don’t blame India; understand why outsourcing: US Congressman

Americans protesting outsourcing should understand why it is happening rather than blame India and other countries for it, a US Congressman said.

It would be “much better and a positive approach to shift the emphasis on not blaming India and other nations but to understand why it is taking place and what has gone into creating this situation,” said Congressman Joseph Crowley (Democrat), who hosted the first Indian American Policy Day on Wednesday.

Indian Americans consider the rising protest against outsourcing as an “India-bashing” exercise.
